Wold is the President & CFO of OnRelay, the pioneer in Cloud-based Mobile corporate voice systems. In addition to her finance and business development functions, Wold was involved in the original design of OnRelay’s patented architecture and spearheaded OnRelay’s cloud strategy.

Previously, Wold started and was the Head of Deloitte’s European Communications Research Institute, where she developed Deloitte’s thought leadership platform for the communications marketplace. Wold was also a strategy consultant at Braxton Associates, Deloitte Consulting, where she developed mobile voice and data strategies for global mobile operators in Europe, Asia and North America.

Before then, Wold was a senior telecoms analyst for the United States International Trade Commission (ITC), supporting the US executive branch negotiations in the 1997 WTO agreement on Basic Telecommunications. Wold also did short stints in the US Foreign Service and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC). Wold got her start in telecoms at the law firm of Wilmer Cutler and Pickering in Washington DC.

Wold has held several Secret Security Clearances during her employment at the US Federal Government.

Wold was named a Distinguished Honoree for Executive of the Year – Telecommunications, in the 2011 International Business Awards, won by the CEO of BT. Wold was a Stevie Award finalist for Best Entrepreneur in EMEA 2010, and twice short-listed for UK Business Woman of the year for technology (2007, 2008).

Wold made her first (successful) pre-IPO investment at the age of 13 in bio-tech. Wold is a trained cartographer, PADI certified diver, rancher, proficient skier, designer and experimental cook / baker. Wold’s most noted health concoctions have been widely criticised as being inedible.

Wold is currently writing a book and blogging away the world’s ills.
